Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Service Spectrum website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Service Spectrum provides website design, web development, website management, SEO, e-commerce, and related digital services. The specific scope, timeline, and price of any project are defined in a written proposal or agreement between Service Spectrum and the client.
2. Quotes and Payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on completion or per the agreed payment schedule.
- Ongoing management and care plans are billed monthly or annually as agreed.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Provide content, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner so projects stay on schedule.
- Ensure that all content supplied to us (text, images, logos) is owned by you or properly licensed.
- Keep account credentials shared with third-party services (domains, payment providers) accurate and current.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client owns the final website design and content created specifically for their project. Service Spectrum retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-party tools, themes, and libraries remain subject to their own licenses.
5. Website Management
For sites under a management or care plan, we perform updates, backups, and monitoring with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or issues caused by third-party hosting providers, plugins, or changes made by parties other than Service Spectrum.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Service Spectrum's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data.
7. Cancellations
Either party may cancel a project or plan with written notice. Work completed up to the cancellation date is billable. Deposits cover work already performed and are non-refundable once design or development has begun.
8. Acceptable Use
We do not build or manage websites that are unlawful, deceptive, or infringe the rights of others. We may decline or terminate work that violates this policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
